Project entails the construction of a 118,000 square foot indoor sports facility, associated site work, utilities, storm water management and other related items. This project entails the construction of a new indoor multi-sport complex; and all labour, material, time, and other related items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by Hughes Group Architects. Direct all questions to Jim Bender at jbender@hagerstownmd.org by no later than 4:30 pm on September 15, 2023. 10% Bid Bond, Cashier's Check or Certified Check to be submitted with the Sealed Proposal. The successful Bidder shall submit a 100% Performance Bond and a Labour & Materials Payment Bond upon award of contract. Notice to Proceed will be issued late Fall of 2023. Liquidated damages are assessed at $1,500.00 per day. Addendum #1-#6 have been issued as of 9-26-2023. Please note that this project is Wage Scale. The subcontractor will also need to complet the Certification by Contractor or Subcontractor Regarding Equal Employment Opportunity with your bid. As of October 2, 2023, revised wage rates have been issued. Contact a bidding GC for the revised wage rate information.
