The project includes providing all construction supervision, labor, materials, tools, test equipment necessary for East Third and Ohio Street Stormwater and Sanitary Sewer Improvements. If the bid is $50,000 or greater, bid shall be accompanied by a certified / cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government in an amount not less than Five Percent (5%) of the base bid. Bid bond shall be executed by a Surety Company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and countersigned by a licensed Kentucky Resident Agent, representing the Surety Company. Bid Bonds are not required for bids under $50,000. A certified check or cashier's check is also acceptable forms of bid security. The Purchasing Agent for the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government may be served.
