Liquidated Damages $500.00 per calendar day The scope of work includes but is not limited to: the expansion and widening of the southbound right lane with an overlapping right turn movement at the intersection of N. Friant Rd and E. Audubon Dr., the relocation of a storm drain facility, and the addition of the southbound bike lane from E. Shepherd Ave. to E. Audubon Dr. Road street improvements from E. Shepherd Ave to E. Audubon Dr. will consists of roadway slurry seal type II, signage and stripping, traffic signal modification for the overlapping southbound right phase, signal loop detection replacements per the new stripping configuration and the extension of the existing wood wall to an additional 208+ along N. Friant Rd The Construction Allocation for this project is $801,700. The Specifications describing this project have been carefully prepared. Any questions or concerns relating to these Specifications shall be directed in writing to the designated Procurement Specialist of the Purchasing Division (see cover page) and shall be sent by facsimile to the RightFax number on the cover page. A Bid Question form for this purpose has been included as page xi. Questions will be accepted only up to 5 working days prior to the bid opening date to allow the City, if necessary, to issue an addendum to all bidders stating revisions, deletions, or additions to be made to the Specifications as a result of any questions. If questions arise after the deadline, please contact the designated Procurement Specialist of the Purchasing Division, but the City will not guarantee a response Question Deadline 08/15/2023
