Reconstruction of the Normandy footbridge, in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. The scope of the project includes the demolition of the existing structure and construction of a new one. TIMELINE: The project is in a preliminary phase. The owner's studies have shown that the project value should be increased up to approximately $18 million vs previously estimated at $12.2 million. The elected official have adopted at their meeting a resolution to submit an application for eligibility for a grant related to the Normandy footbridge reconstruction project with this new value. The owner has included the project in its next three-year capital expenditure program (PTI) which will cover the years 2024, 2025 and 2026. Final budget and timelines of the project development are being finalized.
