The Sanford Airport Authority (Owner) requires a Design-Build Team (Respondent) to provide design and construction services for a new Maintenance Building on Owner property in Sanford, Florida in accordance with 287.055(9), Florida Statutes. When complete, the new building will be used for the daily operations of the Owner Maintenance Department. The objective of the RFQ is to identify and seek competitive qualifications from Respondents to provide services to design, permit and construct the new building in accordance with the design criteria package. The project can be generally described as: Design and construction of a 12,500 square feet of pre-engineered metal building and associated site improvements on an existing parcel of land at the Orlando Sanford International Airport. Work includes new building for office space, storage, and mechanics bay. Site improvements include parking, drive aisles, fence/walls, and landscaping. Renovation of the existing 6,000 square feet maintenance shed is included. The time of completion for the Maintenance Building - Design-Build project is anticipated to be 365 calendar days to achieve Substantial Completion.
