Project scope consists of but is not limited to site work and renovation of utilities. As of August 9, 2023, an engineer has been selected. Design is anticipated to take 12 - 18 months. A timeframe for contractor bidding has not been announced. A firm timeline for construction start has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The selected Engineering Firm will perform all necessary work required to provide hydraulic modeling, design, permitting and bid ready construction documents for the North 3 Utilities Extension Project (UEP) including but not limited to: new water, sewer and irrigation mains, new wastewater lift stations, replacement of existing storm drain systems, fiber optic conduit, and reconstruction of existing roads. Bidding and Design Services during construction are also included. The City reserves the right to add Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) services by a separate agreement. Accordingly, the City would like all Firms to include their qualifications for CEI services for a project of this size and magnitude. All Prospective Bidders/respondents Are Hereby Cautioned Not to Contact Any Member of the City of Cape Coral Staff or Officials Other Than the Specified Contact Person. Question Please confirm the due date is 6/20/2023. The RFP - North 3 Professional Services - RCP2379JM.pdf lists 6/7/2023 as the deadline. Thank you. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals in whole or in part and to waive any irregularities or informalities when in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Cape Coral.
