The responses will be posted after consultation with the appropriate department personnel. If the responses necessitate a significant change to the specifications, an addendum will be issued. FIELD #5: Remove all top rail from the fence. Fabrication of sleeves for existing 1-7/8" line posts. All posts need to be raised at least 4-6" so that the chain-link fence fabric will set correctly against the top rail (1/2 diamond above top rail) and tied in place. Weld all post sleeves in place and touch up with paint. Approx. 450' total Project 2-A FIELD #4/5 SLIDE GATE: Fabrication and installation of a 6' x 22' Harvey style sliding gate between Fields 3 and 6. Gate shall be welded in all corners. Braced and trussed accordingly. Gate shall be built of chain-link materials to match the fence. Front trolley system installed with 2- 6" safety wheels, on track in the rear. DEMO FENCE & HAUL AWAY: Take all chain-link fence, top rail and fittings down. Remove all from site. Cut all posts off at grade and remove from site. 24' FIELD #6 - INSTALL NEW FENCE FABRIC & LINE POSTS: Installation of new 6' chain-link fence fabric (9g KK galvanized) on all perimeters from dugout to dugout. All fabric will be tied off using tie wires along the top rail and down each post. Cut all posts off at grade and sleeve and weld new post in place on all areas of perimeter fence to match correct height. Approx. 450' total Note: use existing top rail, replace any damaged pieces. FIELD #6 GATES: Installation of 2 new 6'chain-link double swing gates. Use existing hardware. Fabricate new gates with new KK fabric installed. Use existing Hinge posts and latch posts are 4". Weld extensions on gate posts as needed. DEMO FENCE & HAUL AWAY: Take all chain-link fence, top rail and fittings down. Remove all from site. Cut all posts off at grade and remove from site. 480
