The work to he performed under this contract includes furnishing the necessary labor materials, equipment, tools and guarantees thereof to: Construct curbs, gutters, sidewalks, walls, bike lanes, storm drainage improvements, paving, landscaping, irrigation, traffic signal and street lights on Chamber Creek Road and Chambers Lane from 81st Avenue West to Bridgeport Way West. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit by certified check, cashier s check, or surety bond m an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the Specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of University Place No bidder may withdraw his proposal after the hours set for the opening thereof, or before award, of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days.
