Westdale Street: Upgrades to the water main service along Westdale Street requires the upgrade of the existing 100mm Cast Iron pipe to 150mm PVC pipe. Fourth Street Upgrades(from 3rd Ave to the private parking lot at the South/east end): a) Water main service along Fourth Street requires the upgrade of the existing 150 mm Cast Iron pipe to 150mm PVC pipe, and b) Design of Stormwater infrastructure includes approximately 250m of combination 375mm/450mm/600mm diameter storm sewer along Fourth Street from Third Avenue to Fifth Avenue including associated catch basins. TIMELINE: Projects are in design. Tender and construction of the Westdale St. Cast Iron Replacement may proceed in 2024 (estimated cost $1.1M). Tender and construction of the Fourth St. Upgrades may be planned for 2028 (estimated cost $850,000). Project schedules may be confirmed by late 2023.
