Three bids were received and are being evaluated by City staff for a recommendation. _________________________________________________________________________ This project consists of sandblasting and painting of steel appurtenances on three sludge settling tanks at the Waste Water Treatment Plant. All Contractors and Subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practical, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of this project. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Miami County and the City of Troy, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations. A bid guaranty as follows is required to accompany each proposal as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted a contract will be entered into: A bid bond in the amount of 100% payable to the City of Troy, or A certified check, a cashier's check, Official Bank Check, or a letter of credit in the amount of 10% payable to the City of Troy, Ohio The City of Troy reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bids when to the advantage of the City and to select the best bid in its opinion. The City of Troy, Ohio is in compliance with ADA.
