For furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary for ARC-FUNDED MAINTENANCE BUILDING PROJECT. Each sealed proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or satisfactory bid bond, in a sum that is not less than five (5) percent of the aggregate amount of bid, payable to the Warren County Memorial Airport Commission. The successful bidder will be required to execute Contract and to provide Contract Surety in an amount equal to one hundred (100) percent of the bid amount for performance, and a bond in the amount equal to one hundred (100) percent of the bid amount guaranteeing the payment of all labor, materials, etc. Questions may be directed to Jim Dyer, Aviation Director, Warren County Memorial Airport, 48 West Airport Drive, McMinnville, Tennessee 37110, Telephone: 931.668.7050. Question Deadline 12/01/2023 No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. Bids may be held by the Warren County Memorial Airport Commission for a period not to exceed one hundred twenty (120) calendar days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract. This project is subject to the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation. The owner has established a contract goal of 8.28% participation for small business concerns owned and controlled by qualified disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE). The bidder shall make and document good faith efforts, as defined in Appendix A of 49 CFR Part 26, to meet the established goal. Rights to waive any formality in any proposed guarantee, to reject any and all bids, and to negotiate with the apparent low bidder to such extent as may be necessary, are reserved.
