The Town of Wethersfield, after review of all factors, including the terms and conditions, qualifications and price, reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, or any part thereof, or waive defects in the same, or accept any proposal or combination of proposals deemed to be in the best interest of the Owner. All bid documents must be completely filled out when submitted. Bids must be firm for a period of 90 days following the bid opening date. This contract is subject to state set-aside and contract compliance requirements. The Town of Wethersfield has been awarded Community Connectivity Grant Program (CCGP) funds from the CT Department of Transportation to complete safety improvements near three intersections that include Main Street and Hartford Avenue, Garden Street and Nott Street, and Main Street and State Street. In general, the project includes modifying curb radii, installing new brick paver and concrete sidewalks, concrete ramps, curb bump outs, parking spaces, crosswalks, pavement markings and signage, and limited permanent pavement repair and drainage improvements.
