The Project Stanford, Lincoln County, KY. - Foster Lane SIDEWALK PROJECT consists of constructing 1,332 sq yd of sidewalk and related excavation, curbs, drainage and other items. Bids shall be on a unit price basis bid items as indicated in the Bid Form The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: AGE Engineering Services, INC. Bidding Documents also may be examined at Office of the County Judge Executive at office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of [9:00 to 4:00]. Following registration, complete sets of Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the Issuing Office's website as "zipped" portable document format (PDF) files. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of the Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. For their bids to be accepted, bidders and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises ("DBE") subcontractors must be prequalified with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and possess a Certificate of Eligibility at the time of the bid opening. All other subcontractors must be prequalified when accepting subcontracts. DBE Certification Required for this project is 2%. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of 5% of the bid. NO pre-bid conference will be held. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
