For the improvement of a certain section of STATE ROUTES 2003 and 2004 in Pike COUNTY, Lehman TOWNSHIP, SR 2003 Section 454. The location of the project is as follows: From a point approximately 1 1/4 miles North of the intersection with SR 2001 at Segment 0030 Offset 2863 (STA 74+00) to a point approximately 7 miles Southeast of the intersection with SR 0402 at Segment 0040 Offset 0210 (STA 78+00) along SR 2003, Bushkill Falls Road, Lehman Township. From a point approximately 1 1/2 miles West of the intersection with SR 2001 at Segment 0180 Offset 2090 (STA 464+00) to a point approximately 8 miles Northeast of the intersection with SR 0402 at Segment 0190 Offset 0217 (STA 469+00) along SR 2004, Delaware Township. SR 2003 consist of bridge deck replacement of a Single Span P/S Adjacent Box Beam (over Little Bushkill Creek) using PPC concrete, mill and overlay of 50 ft of roadway before and after the bridge and guiderail installation. The construction will be done using half width construction for bridge repairs and short-term traffic patterns for mill and paving operations, for a total length of 0.028 miles. SR 2004 consist of bridge repairs of a Single Span Reinforced Concrete Slab (over Nichekronk Brook) with an epoxy waterproof membrane structure, mill and overlay of 191 ft of roadway and existing guiderail reset. The construction will be done using a detour for a total length of 0.036 miles. The overall project (SR 2003 and SR 2004) has a total length of 0.047 miles as indicted on the approved drawings included in the bid package. Other work includes excavation, full depth bituminous paving bridge approach, impact attenuating device, guiderail, temporary traffic control, signing, temporary concrete barrier, pavement markings, delineators, removal of portion of existing bridge, concrete bridge deck repairs, concrete beam repairs and other miscellaneous concrete structure construction.
