The vision for the new facility is to provide an exemplary learning and teaching environment for Utah State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Additionally, the new facility will: Allow the program to grow to 100 students per year within the program. Provide collaborative, flexible classrooms that will meet the current and future needs for the program. Facilitate a collaborative and engaging environment that offers the right mix of learning, studying and amenity spaces to serve the students. Provide opportunities for students to connect to nature and the outdoor environment to promote mental and physical health. Provide ample space to continue the exemplary student/faculty ratio, ensuring students have access to faculty, research opportunities and clinical engagement. Facilitate innovative teaching and learning to retain attract and retain world-class faculty, researchers, staff and students. Association with other individuals or firms having appropriate professional expertise is acceptable. The State will enter into a single agreement with the successful Contractor. The RFP documents including the selection requirements and the Project Schedule, will be available on the Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P) website at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 and can also be accessed via the DFCM website - Electronic Bidding. The Division of Facilities Construction and Management reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any formality or technicality in any proposal in the interest of the State.
