Reference number : 1637616 Drainage and waterproofing - Phase 2 Saint-Benoît-du-Lac Abbey 1 Main Street, Saint-Benoît-du-Lac (Quebec) J0B 2M0 Saint-Benoît-du-Lac Abbey is requesting tenders for the completion of drainage and waterproofing work for the abbey, for a first phase, and published under the title indicated above. Architectural plans and specifications as well as structural and civil engineering plans were produced for this project, which covers demolition, excavation, drainage, waterproofing, concrete, concrete finishing and all other related work. Tenders must be accompanied by a tender bond valid for a period of 90 days after the date of opening of tenders, established at 10% of the amount of the tender, or by a certified check made out to the order of the Saint-Benoît-du-Lac Abbey , established at the same amount. This bid guarantee (bond or certified cheque) must be exchanged at the signing of the contract by a performance bond and a guarantee of the contractor's obligations for wages, labor and materials, each equal to 50% of the price . total of the contract by a bond and 10% of the total price of the contract by a certified check . Only contractors having their main place of business in Quebec and holding a license under the law on the professional qualification of building contractors are eligible to bid. The project is carried out with the participation of sponsors and this will involve following the rules associated with this type of project. Saint-Benoît-du-Lac Abbey does not undertake to accept the lowest or any other of the tenders received.
