The Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) invites proposals from qualified firms to provide A/E Services for CCBC Dundalk Student Service Center Renovation. In order to be considered for the project, the responding firm shall demonstrate to the colleges full and sole satisfaction that they have the capacity to produce the design for the project. Each responding firm will require a commitment to engage each of the team disciplines and members therein included in their responding proposal. The criteria for evaluating and selecting firms for continuing in the selection processes along the way are described in further section(s) of this solicitation. Question Deadline 06/15/2022 at 4:00 PM ET The sole point of contact at CCBC for purposes of this Solicitation is the Procurement Officer noted below. Any questions with regard to any aspect of this proposal must be directed to Tony Middleton, Assistant Purchasing Director - amiddleton4@ccbcmd.edu. Only information communicated by the Procurement Officer shall be deemed the official position of the College. Technical & Price Proposals Due TBD Friday, July 29, 2022 Interview/Oral Presentation TBD Monday, August 15, 2022 & Tuesday, August 16, 2022 The Consultant firm shall provide complete professional services for all aspects of the design process. These services shall include all calculations, sketches, meetings, preparation and filing of waiver requests, variance requests, DRC and community meeting attendance (if necessary), electronic renderings, and draft specifications. The deliverable will be complete sets of coordinated plans and specifications and a supporting project electronic model in Revit (known as Building Information Modeling (BIM)). This shall include: code analysis, site plans, site details, utility plans and profiles, landscape plans and details, forest conservation plan, afforestation plan, sediment control plans and details, storm water management plans and details, floor plans, partial plans, elevations, sections, typical details, special details, Structural plans/schedules/details, MEP plans/schedules/details, finish schedules, furniture and/or equipment layout and casework for all systems under the scope of work. Together, these efforts will culminate in a clear, accurate, coordinated, and complete set of biddable and constructible contract documents describing, in whatever detail necessary, the entire scope of all work to be performed by contractors and furniture or equipment vendors. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
