The project consists of a 36,262 SF two-story teaching laboratory building that will be used by the Jefferson Community and Technical College. Primary building systems include a steel frame structure, brick and metal panels over cold-formed metal stud exterior walls, a two-ply SBS roof system, and an HVAC system served by local central plant utilities. Estimated Length of Project: 510 (Substantial Completion) + 30 (Final Completion) All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee (in the form of a bid bond or certified check) of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the lump sum base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and a separate 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instructions to Bidders and/or General Conditions. Bonds should be executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, Commonwealth of Kentucky, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Commonwealth may be served. All Technical Questions Shall Be Emailed to the Architect/engineer of Record for This Project. All Procurement Questions Shall Be Directed to Buyer of Record for This Project.
