The general scope of the proposed Grandview and Kingham WWPS Upgrades and Equipment Replacement Project includes, but is not limited to the following: 1) Replace and upgrade process mechanical equipment and components (i.e., pumps, discharge piping, valves, fittings) 2) Upgrade electrical system with new wiring/cables and equipment as required. 3) Various structural upgrades, including replacement of wet well grating, platforms, and handrails. 4) Installation of new site fencing and lighting (Grandview WWPS only). 5) Replacement of non-standard or past useful life instrumentation. 6) Bypass pumping system for the duration of construction. For the purposes of this letter, the anticipated total construction cost for the Grandview and Kingham Wastewater Pumping Station Upgrades and Equipment Replacement is approximately CAD $3,500,000 excluding HST and therefore the letter must confirm bonding facility in the amount of CAD $5,932,500.
