The primary goal of this RFP is to select one or more Contractor who is able to perform boiler and steam system maintenance and repair, preventative and corrective, for ARMC in a timely and cost-effective manner. The awarded Contractor(s) should be capable of meeting the following objectives: a. Perform annual and quarterly maintenance in accordance with all South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) requirements b. Perform emergency repairs within 4 hours; with 24/7/365 availability; c. Perform non-emergency repairs within 24 hours d. Perform required testing on boilers and steam systems. e. Perform inspection, repair, and replacement of various steam fittings, valves, gauges, steam piping, component insulation, condensation pumps, expansion tanks, and related systems f. Prepare all required reports to meet SCAQMD, Joint Commission, and manufacturer standards. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the regulations/specifications, the most stringent regulation(s)/specification(s) shall prevail. g. Furnish all labor, materials, software, equipment and any other services necessary to complete the required scope of work under the proposed contract. San Bernardino County (“County”), is seeking proposals from interested and qualified proposers to provide routine and emergency maintenance of boilers, heat exchangers, clean steam, and all related items (steam fittings, steam piping, valves, gauges, pumps, controls, and others) at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (“ARMC”). These services are necessary for the safe and efficient operation of the Boiler and Steam systems and associated components. The number of awards will be determined by the quality of the proposals received. Attendance at the job walk is mandatory. Due to COVID-19 only one (1) representative from your company may attend. The maximum number of attendees will be six (6) allowed to attend the job walk. (Note: additional job walks may be scheduled if we receive over six requests to attend. An addendum will be posted in ePro should additional job walks be scheduled). Masks and social distancing will be required during the job walk.
