Reedley Sports Park North Soccer Fields. The City of Reedley is requesting written responses to this REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) for selection of a qualified firm (Consultant) to provide Professional Engineering Design services solely for the interest of the City. This RFP is for professional landscape architecture and engineering design of new park amenities at the Reedley Sports Park, including the following: - NCAA soccer field with 2 youth overlays - Concrete sidewalk trail along soccer field - Secondary park entrance - New parking facilities - Small group picnic area - Landscaping and lighting - Utility improvements including sizing for future phases to connect to - Storm drainage system The existing park is a 49-acre site that is bounded to the north by Dinuba Avenue, to the east and south by an irrigation creek and to the west by a private lot. The North Soccer Fields phase of the Sports Park is located southwest of the intersection of Dinuba Avenue and Zumwalt Avenue. The City of Reedley owns and maintains the 49-acre property. All questions must be prior to 3:00 P.M. on February 23, 2023. A response to all questions will be issued on March 2, 2023 Award Date April 11, 2023 All services provided by the Consultant shall be performed by individuals who meet the qualifications, education and certification/licensing requirements for the position. The successful Consultant shall also have the resources to provide cost effective and timely services, including providing customer service to the City. The City intends to award a contract to a consultant that most satisfies the requirements of this RFP and can verify successful performance of similar activities. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive any irregularities in any proposal during the proposal process. The City reserves the right to amend the RFP by addendum prior to the final proposal submittal date. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
