The work of this project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but not limited to, the following scope: All labor, taxes, materials, equipment, services, permits, incidental and implied, to construct a new Aviation Museum and CVCC Education Center. The project consists of the construction of an airplane hangar of approximately 4,000 SF for the Museum, a 9,000 SF shell space for a future Restaurant/event space and an education center of approximately 36,000 SF for Catawba Valley Community College The scope of work per contract documents are as follows: David E. Looper & Company, Inc. would like to invite you to participate in the bidding process for this new Airport Aviation Museum/Hangar, University lab and classroom and 3 story office and restaurant shell space. This facility will be a combination of Pre-engineered Metal Building and 3 story structural steel structure with elevated concrete decks. The project will have the following; Sitework: Grading, paving, sidewalks, stained concrete, Landscaping, chain link fencing and gates, site lighting, dumpster pad, bollards, concrete paving, water lines, sanitary sewer lines, storm sewer lines Building: Concrete foundations, structural steel, steel stairs, Steel railings, Casework, caulking, TPO roofing, Insulation, aluminum composite panels, Curtain Wall, Storefront, doors, frames, hardware, OH doors, light gauge framing, drywall, polished concrete flooring, resilient flooring, ceramic tile, painting, toilet and bath accessories, toilet partitions, fire extinguishers and cabinets, PEMB (including standing seam metal roofing, aluminum siding panels, interior liner panels, insulation), Fire Sprinkler system, Plumbing, Mechanical/HVAC and Electrical. This a CMAR project for DELCO requiring all subcontractors to be prequalified.
