As of August 21, 2023, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design phase. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is expected to start in Fall 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Town of Cary is seeking one or more qualified firm(s) with which to contract for the following services: Qualified firm(s) will provide design services for various sidewalk projects. This includes but is not limited to: survey, roadway, sidewalk, stormwater/drainage, bikeway design, public and private utility relocations, environmental, erosion & sediment control, NCDOT permitting, right-of-way acquisition and contract administration for public bid. Cary may select up to two (2) professional design firms for these services. A detailed scope of services is provided in Section 4 of this solicitation. Deadline for written questions Friday, May 6, 2022, 5:00 PM Town Response to Questions (anticipated) Tuesday, May 10, 2022 Evaluation Meeting (anticipated) Thursday, June 2, 2022 Interviews (if required) Thursday, June 9, 2022 Selection Announcement (tentative) Friday, June 10, 2022 Requests for clarification and questions to this RFQ must be received by the Town not later than the date shown above in Section 1.3, entitled "RFQ Timeline", for the submittal of written inquires. The Town will not entertain any further questions after the due date.
