The scope of work includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures, and services required for to construct a multilane roundabout on Pioneer Parkway at Commerce Drive, including reconstructing approximately 1,400 feet of Pioneer Parkway and 800 feet of Commerce Drive. The project will include approximately 3510 cubic yards of excavation, 14,042 cubic yards of borrow, 2,910 cubic yards of asphaltic concrete, and excavation, 4,190 square yards of pavement milling, 2,910 tons of asphaltic concrete and 2,652 cubic yards of aggregate base. Other associated work includes clearing and grubbing, installation of 1,845 of CMP, catch basins and scuppers for pavement drainage, extension of an existing 4 x 36" culvert with new headwalls, placement of concrete curb, sidewalk, and access ramps, installation of roadway lighting and guardrail, placement of gravel mulch and landscape rock, reseeding per specification, developing and implementing SWPPP, subgrade preparation, and installation of signing and pavement markings. All work is to be done in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. All proposals shall be submitted in strict accordance with the INSTRUCTIONS FOR BIDDING included on the website and submitted on the documents provided therein. Bids shall include all applicable taxes and must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract price bid, made payable to the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors. Bidders are invited to be present at the opening of bids, but absence will not be considered cause for disqualification. Bidders shall be responsible for any licenses or permits required by the regulatory agency of the State of Arizona that apply to the performance of this contract.
