Each bid shall be sealed and plainly identified and made part of the proposed Contract Documents. Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Form included in the Bid Documents with the Bidder Status Form and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security as set forth in the Instruction to Bidders. Bid Security shall be by a bid bond, cashier's check or a certified check drawn upon a solvent bank charted under the laws of the United States of America. The County will issue a sales tax exemption certificate applicable for all materials purchased for the project.The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount. Davis-Bacon Wages will not apply to this project. Winnebago County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, and to waive informalities or technicalities in any bid and to enter into such contract as it shall deem for the best interest of Winnebago County. Question Deadline 07/27/2023 at 3:00 PM CT Project includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the construction of a 3,535 s.f. wood frame addition to the existing Winnebago County Public Health building located at 216 South 4 th Street in Forest City, IA. The building shall be a slab-on grade with a waiting area, reception, offices, training room, storage and mechanical rooms. Site improvements include water service, storm sewer system, sanitary sewer system connecting to existing infrastructure, concrete site pavement, and site demolition. All mechanical, plumbing, and electrical shall be included as per drawings and specifications
