For furnishing all labor and materials for the following: Desan Park Grading and Drainage Project in and for the City of Richmond Heights - Removal or Existing Playground Equipment and Foundations. Concrete sidewalk, concrete patio, excavation of subgrade and installation of underdrains and base for new playground equipment, grading of swales and installation of bio swales and bio-retention ponds at Desan Park on Trebisky Road. Each bid must contain the full name of each person or company interested in the same and will be accompanied by a certified check or BID BOND IN AN AMOUNT EQUAL TO FIVE PERCENT (5%) OF THE BID, drawn on some solvent bank or bonding company in the State of Ohio, payable to the Director of Finance of Richmond Heights, Ohio as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a Contract pursuant thereto will be entered into and its performance properly secured. Should any bid be accepted, the certified check or bid bond of the successful bidder will be returned upon proper execution and securing of the contract. Checks or bid bonds of unsuccessful bidders will be returned after a Contract has been awarded and entered into or upon the rejection of all bids. Compliance with the provisions of Richmond Heights Resolution No. 51-77 Affirmative Action for Equal Employment Opportunity is required. Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, award or reject sections separately, waive any irregularities in the bids and accept the bid deemed most favorable to the City.
