New Market Water Tank Repainting The contractor shall provide exterior surface preparation, maintenance and repair (as required), exterior coating; testing; and accessories as may be referred to in these specifications for a 3,000,000-gallon ground storage tank for potable water in New Market, Alabama. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary and proper for the complete tank repainting at New Market water storage tank. Procurement questions should be directed to: Jennie Weatherly at jweatherly@madisoncountyal.gov The contractor shall perform the work within thirty (30) days. The period of performance will begin with the date on the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed will be issued post award. The amount of the cashier's check or Bid Bond shall not be less than five percent (5%) of the contractor's bid but is not required to be in an amount more than Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000). Upon signing and returning the Construction Contract to the Owner for final approval and execution, the Contractor shall, at the Contractor's expense, furnish to the Owner a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in a penal sum equal to 100% of the Contract Sum. The Madison County Commission reserves the right to award this bid on an all-or-none or item by item basis, to refuse all bids, and to waive technicalities. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
