Upgrades and improvements to the Municipality water supply and sewer networks. The work will be done in Duquette, Prédéal-Trudeau and Marie-Anne and downtown Sectors and will includes: • installation of a new gravity sanitary sewer system and replacement of the existing aqueduct on Wilfrid, Marie-Anne, Prédéal-Trudeau, Beaulne-Jutras, Duquette , Boutin Streets and a section of Route 117 (between Montée Trudeau and Wilfrid Street); • installation of a new gravity sanitary network and a new aqueduct on Montée Trudeau, Rolland, Lauzon and Hermine-Thibault Streets; • construction of a new pumping station on Montée Prédéal-Trudeau and its discharge pipe on Duquette Street; • replacement of the sanitary sewer on De l'Église Street with a larger diameter pipe between intersection of Duquette Street and intersection of De la Rivière Road. These interventions will allow the connection of 89 buildings to the sewer network and 9 new residences to the aqueduct network. TIMELINE: Provincial government has allocated in the framework of the Municipal Water Infrastructure Program (PRIMEAU) 2023 an amount of almost $22 million for Val-David municipal water/sewer improvement program. Owner is implementing the project by construction packages. First construction package has been already tendered, awarded and is now followed in the report under CRM ID name Extension and Replacement of Sewer and Water Systems - Prédéal-Trudeau, Wilfrid and Marie-Anne Sectors. Construction is underway. Subsequent tenders will be followed in new separate reports. Coverage of this report has been discontinued. Note. Initial tender for the first package construction issued under the number 2022-05 was cancelled by the owner.
