The project installs pedestrian improvements to three intersections on Foothill Blvd in Oakland. The improvements include a new rectangular rapid flashing beacon at 26th Ave, a new traffic signal and improved crosswalks at 27th Ave and a new concrete median at Belvedere St. and other work specifically shown in the project bid documents. Questions Due: April 19, 2022, by 2:00 PM by email to the Project Manager. It is the Contractor's responsibility to ensure that the email is received by the Project Manager. Any addendum that materially changes the bid invitation shall be issued no less than 72 hours before the bid opening, unless the bid opening is extended by said addendum If bidders choose to mail their bid, it is the bidder's responsibility to ensure that it is received by the City Clerk prior to the bid deadline. It is strongly encouraged to allow for several additional days for mail processing. Late submissions may not be accepted and will be returned unopened. License Required: Class A Contract Days: 150 working days Liquidated Damages: $1,000 per calendar day Oakland-certified Local Business Requirement: 50% minimum participation (excluding Specialty Items, if any. See Sections II.F, II.S and III.A.6).
