The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Police SWAT-HDU-K9 Facility Project. Sealed bids will be received by the Gwinnett County Purchasing Division, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046 until 2:50 P.M. local time on Monday, November 6, 2023 and then publicly opened and read aloud at 3:00 P.M. Any bid received after 2:50 P.M. will not be accepted. Bid envelope should be marked on the outside with Bid Number, name of Bidder, date and time of opening. One unbound original and two (2) copies should be submitted. Work to be performed but not limited to a new building construction to house SWAT, HDU and K-9 operations and a separate pre-engineered metal magazine shed building, a 22,000 SF facility. The buildings will be on a green field site, requiring site earthwork grading, underground utilities, roadways and parking lots, hardscape, and landscape. The SWAT-HDU-K9 building exterior wall system will comprise of CMU, rigid insulation, brick, and concrete masonry veneer. The roof systems will include a modified bitumen roof and standing seam metal roof. Interior partitions will include metal stud framing, metal hat channels, gypsum wall board and CMU." Questions regarding bids should be submitted to Alexis Holland, Purchasing Associate II, via email alexis.holland@gwinnettcounty.com no later than 3:00 P.M. local time, Wednesday, October 25, 2023. Bids are legal and binding upon the bidder when submitted.
