Ashe County and the Ashe County Airport are proceeding with the Perimeter Fencing Project, which consists of installation of approximately 630 linear feet of 10 fence and proposed gate installation around the northwest hangar development. The project also includes clearing and grubbing adjacent to proposed fence locations. The overall scope of work includes existing gate and fence removal, fence installation, motorized sliding gate installation, access control system installation, erosion and sediment control measures, and clearing and grubbing. The maximum construction time allowed for the project is 60 consecutive calendar days with Liquidated Damages of $1,000 per day. Work codes for this project include, but are not limited to: 000200 CLEARING AND GRUBBING, 000866 FENCE INSTALLATION, 001605 TEMPORARY SILT FENCE, 001660 SEEDING AND MULCHING.
