As of October 11, 2023 project still not awarded. This bid is for Unit Ventilator, Pneumatic Controls & Piping Replacement. Each general bidder must be certified by DCAMM for the category of work of HVAC and in the dollar amount of this Project. Each general bidder must also submit a copy of the Certificate of Eligibility from DCAMM showing that it is eligible to bid on the project, as well as an Update Statement with its bid. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified or treasurers check from a bank or trust company or money order of not less than five percent (5%) of its bid. The selected contractor shall provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the full amount of the contract price. Minimum wage rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, 26 to 27H, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before bid opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on minimum wage rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed work under this contract. The City of Revere is an equal opportunity employer. It is the policy of the City of Revere to take positive steps to maximize the utilization of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The City of Revere has established a goal of five percent (5%) participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in all construction projects. The bidding and award of this contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 149. No bidder may withdraw their bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Citys right is reserved to reject any or all bids or any part of a bid, which in the opinion of the City Purchasing Agent is most advantageous to the City of Revere.
