Each general bidder must be certified by DCAMM for the category of work of HVAC and in the dollar amount of this Project. Each general bidder must also submit a copy of the Certificate of Eligibility from DCAMM showing that it is eligible to bid on the project, as well as an Update Statement with its bid. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified or treasurers check from a bank or trust company or money order of not less than five percent (5%) of its bid. The selected contractor shall provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the full amount of the contract price. Minimum wage rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, 26 to 27H, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before bid opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on minimum wage rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed work under this contract.
