JM Cope is bidding on the new 2 story addition of the Caldwell Community College - Occupational Facility Addition in Boone, North Carolina and would like you to provide pricing for the scope pertaining to your responsible trade of work. Project is roughly 12,000 sqft. The work includes General Construction, Plumbing, Mechanical (Scope is modified with Owner Provided Equipment Please review addendum no. 1) , Electrical (Scope is modified with Owner Provided Equipment Please review addendum no. 1) , and Site work to be constructed under a Single Prime Contract. The extent of work is shown on the drawings and specified in the project manual. The owner reserves the right to limit the amount of portions of work to be subcontracted as hereinafter specified. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a cash deposit or a certified check drawn on some bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, or a bid bond in an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal, said deposit to be retained by the owner as liquidated damages in event of failure of the successful bidder to execute the contract within ten (10) days after the award or to give satisfactory surety as required by law (G.S. 143-129).
