The work includes all labor, equipment, and materials to complete in every detail of the work indicated on the plans and specifications. Specifically, all work incidental thereto Wildwood Park Bridges & Boardwalks as part of the Wildwood Park Observation Tower and Trails Project including, but not limited to, demolition, earthwork, drainage, bridges & boardwalks construction, paving, and stabilization. The goal for Minority and / or Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) participation is MBE 10% and WBE 6%. Each goal must be met separately. Exceeding one goal does not satisfy requirements for the other. If applicable, each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond executed by a corporate security licensed to do so under North Carolina law, of an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal, or in lieu thereof, a bidder may offer a certified check from a financial institution insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) as a deposit. To whom the contract is awarded, a Performance and Payment Bond will be required for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid date. The City Council of the City of Greenville reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The liquidated damages for this contract are One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00) per calendar day *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
