Phase 1 of this Project consists of site improvements along the Grand River and interior/exterior building renovations to the existing Carousel building wing of the Grand Rapids Public Museum. BP-1A is the first of two bid packages addressing the work shown in the Phase 1 construction documents. BP-1A consists of three (3) bid categories: BC-01 Earthwork, BC-02 Aggregate Piers, & BC-03 Micropiles. A future bid package (BP-1B) will be forthcoming to address the balance of bid categories for Ph.1 work and can be referenced in the Supplemental to Instructions to Bidders’ index within the CM Front End documentation. In order to be an eligible bidder for this work, your company must become a Prequalified Contractor for City of GR projects. Please be sure that if you’re currently “Prequalified”, that you check on the status of that and you’re in good standing with the City. If you are not and/or need go through this registration process, please do that as soon as possible using the link provided below. The registration process looks to take about 25 min to complete and the City of GR looks to take ~ 1 week to review/approve your registration, so please don’t delay in completing this registration as soon as possible.
