It is the intent of Charlotte County to solicit competitive bids for the purchase of effluent pumps for Charlotte County Utilities. It is the specific purpose of this bid to establish a contract for the required materials and to secure the cost and availability of the requirements from sources of supply that will give prompt and convenient service. Bid prices shall be inclusive of all labor, equipment, transportation and all other costs incidental to providing pumps to CCUD. These prices shall be considered firm from Date of Award, through and including December 31, 2022. The contract may be renewed by mutual agreement, at the same prices, terms and conditions for two (2) additional one (1) year terms. There will not be a Pre-Bid Conference for this project. Please send all questions to the email address below. Any questions can be answered by contacting Sheri Strong, Contract Specialist at 941.743.1373 or email: sheri.strong@charlottecountyfl.gov. The County reserves the right to reject the bid proposal of any bidder who has previously failed to perform properly, or on time, contracts of similar nature; or who is not in a position to satisfactorily perform the contract. If, after bid opening, the lowest bidder is deemed non-responsible by the County, such bidder shall receive written notice from the County of this determination. The bidder shall have five (5) business days from the date of this notice to dispute the determination and to provide to the County any additional information it deems relevant regarding the bidder's responsibility. The County shall make a final determination regarding the bidder's responsibility at the time of award of the contract.
