As of October 18, 2023, an architect and construction manager have been selected for the project. Bidding is expected to take place in late November of 2023 and construction is estimated to take place in spring of 2024. The selected respondent will enter into a contract with the City which will identify the terms of the contract, and other conditions which might apply to this project. Responses shall comply with the requirements of Paragraph E of the RFQ. Questions regarding this RFQ should be submitted by e-mail to: David Hagar dhagar@cdaid.org The City, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 US.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, notifies all bidders that it will ensure that disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this RFQ and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin. The City of Coeur d'Alene reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive all informalities. The Project for which CM/GC Services are required is generally described as follows: 1. An expansion of the existing Police Department Headquarters building, a remodel of portions of the Police Department Headquarters building, and an analysis and possible renovation of the current HVAC system. 2. It is expected that this project will be completed in phases to allow for continuous operation of the Police facility on a 24/7 basis. 3. The selected CM/GC will be required to be part of a design and construction team that will develop the Project through target value-based design. It will be expected to provide a project budget, scheduling information, and constructability evaluations throughout the project development process. In addition, it is anticipated that the CM/GC will assist the City in selecting a qualified Architect to design the Project. It is the intent of the City that the three main components of the Project Team will consist of the City (including its Representatives), the Architectural Design Team, and the CM/GC.
