As of November 22, 2022, the project is under construction. A timeline for completion has not been confirmed. VILLAGE OF GNADENHUTTEN GNADENHUTTEN, OHIO WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT RENOVATIONS The Project includes the following Work: Constructing of a 32 x 48 masonry block building which includes electrical and mechanical appurtenances over an existing headworks channel for the wastewater treatment plant. Also included in this project is replacement of the fine screen equipment, conveyor equipment, and the associated electrical upgrades. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Wastewater Treatment Plant Renovations Owner anticipates that the Projects total bid price will be approximately $1,005,700.00. The Project has an expected duration of 300 days. Bidders who submit a Bid must be a Plan Holder of record at the Issuing Office. Bids from Bidders who are not on the Plan Holders List may be returned as not being responsive. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Instructions to Bidders For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. American Iron and Steel Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term iron and steel products means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials. The following waivers apply to this Contract: Minor Components, Pig iron and direct reduced iron, Certification Regarding Debarment, Suspension, Ineligibility and Voluntary Exclusion, Certification for Contracts, Grants and Loans, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification of Personal Property Tax, and Certified Copy of Corporate Resolution.
