As of April 14, 2022 This project is already awarded to Monarch Products with the awarded amount of $89,125. Estimated start date of construction is Fall of 2022 and will end on November 15th. Major items of construction consist of furnishing and installing a 29' L x 3.5' H x 15' W precast concrete box culvert in an excavation area prepared by the Township. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bank check, payable to Salisbury Township or a Bid Bond in the form described in the bidding documents executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to 10% of the Total Bid. Bidders must submit a non-collusion affidavit. A performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required. Salisbury Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by Salisbury Township for a period of not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders prior to awarding the contract. This project is NOT subject to the Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry. The Owner expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and/or to waive any informalities in the bids, and/or to accept any Bid that in its judgment best serves its interests.
