LITITZ BOROUGH 2022 PAVING: Project consists of gutter milling of bituminous pavement on East 2nd Ave, from Broad Street to Kissel Hill Road. A 2-inch wearing course will be placed on these roads in the Borough of Lititz totaling an estimated 8,760 square yards. An estimated 507 linear feet of curbing will also be replaced along these streets as part of this project. Questions will be accepted until 9:00 AM, Friday February 11, 2022. All questions must be submitted through electronically All proposals (bids) are to be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the total bid. The Borough reserves the right to waive any minor informalities, irregularities or defects in the bid; or to reject any or all of the bids. All Bidders are required to establish proof of competency and responsibility, in accordance with 67 PA Code Chapter 457, Regulations Governing Pre-qualification of Prospective Bidders and PennDOT Form 408/2016, as supplemented and amended, Section 102. All Bidders and Subcontractors must be PennDOT pre-qualified. Lititz Borough has determined that this work is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the Contractor shall pay at least the wage rates as determined in the decision of the Secretary of Labor and Industry and shall comply with the conditions of the act approved August 15, 1961, and the regulations issued thereto, to assure the full and proper payment of the rates. Liquidated damages apply $825 per day .
