D'Angelis Water Treatment Plant PFAS Upgrades - construction of new WTP using GAC contactors for PFAS removal, building demo and hazmat abatement, upgrades to existing pump stations. Contract Final Completion time shall be 450 calendar days commencing from the date of Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages for each calendar day of delay shall be One Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($1,000.00) as stipulated in the Contract documents. The work generally consists of constructing a new municipal water treatment plant that provides treatment for removal of PFAs, construction of a backwash waste tank, water main installation, demolition of two (2) existing buildings and associated hazardous materials abatement. The work also includes upgrades to the existing pump stations including well cleaning and rehabilitation, installation of new well pumps and variable frequency drives, and replacement of process piping and instrumentation.
