The construction management and materials testing services to be performed for Project No. 2447 generally includes providing construction contract administration and inspection services on behalf of the City of Concord Pavement Maintenance. The City of Concord ("CITY") releases this Request for Proposals ("RFP") to solicit proposals from civil engineering firms ("PROPOSER") inte rested in providing construction management services and material testing services for the construction of Project No. 2447, Ellis Lake Area Sanitary Sewer Improvements. Construction of Project No. 2447 will consist of mobilization, traffic control, storm water pollution control, potholing of existing utilities, clearing and grubbing, tree trimming, bypass pumping of sanitary sewer flows, open trench replacement of sanitary sewer mains and laterals, pipe bursting of sanitary sewer mains and laterals, sewer cleanout installations, manhole construction, manhole rehabilitation, digout repairs, slurry sealing, microsurfacing, and traffic striping and markings. The estimated construction cost, without contingency is $5,120,000. Construction Management Services - will generally include providing construction contract administration, resident engineering, and inspection services on behalf of the City of Concord. Material Testing Services - will generally include providing material testing services as required by specifications in accordance with Caltrans Construction Manual on behalf of the City of Concord. Proposers shall submit their qualifications and experience in their RFP response packages. The City's intent is to negotiate the contract February 2022 and award in April 2022.
