As of 5/25/2022, no bids were received. Owner intends to re-evaluate the project and rebid this summer. All bids shall be accompanied by an acceptable bid bond or cashier's check in an amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. The bid guaranty is required by the CITY as evidence of good faith and as a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the BIDDER shall execute the Contract and furnish the required bonds and evidence of insurance within ten (10) days after receipt of the awarded contract. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract price, from an approved Surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety, and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding Certificates of Authority from the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, or another Surety acceptable to the City.
