Domestic Hot Water Replacement at Middlesex High School project Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-26, in order to be eligible to submit a bid for the Project, the Bidder shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction ("DPMC") as of the date and time of the bid opening in the following discipline: C030 Plumbing Additionally, if the Bidder is not classified by the DPMC as either C008 General Construction; or C009 General Construction/Alterations and Additions (either classification is acceptable), or C032 HVACR, or C047 Electrical, the Bidder shall retain subcontractors in those disciplines that the Bidder is not so classified, such subcontractors shall be named in the bid, and all documentation required by the bid documents and by law to be provided for such subcontractors shall be provided in the time required by the bid documents and by law. Bids shall be submitted on the provide proposal forms and be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check of bid bond draw to the order of the "Middlesex Board of Education" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, but in no case in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). Bid securities shall comply with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-24. Bids shall include a Consent of Surety obligating the issuing surety company to provide the bidder and its subcontractors, if successful, with a New Jersey Statutory Performance and Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening date. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any informality in the bidding, as permitted by law. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.50 et seq., Bidders and their subcontractors are required to be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor.
