***As of February 8, 2022, the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.*** Project includes, but is not limited to, the surface preparation and painting of the interior and exterior of the Christian Avenue Tank. The existing circular tank is 46 feet in diameter with side walls to a height of 82 feet. Included in the scope of work is the dome roof of the tank that has a rise to span ratio of 1: 7'-8". Additionally the failing grout at the base of the concrete and steel chime shall be removed and new grout installed. The concrete base grout and chime will be coated using an epoxy primer and aromatic urethane coat. Containment through the use of shrouds, draping, or other approved enclosures is required. No pre-bid meeting will be conducted. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding. Bids for the above-described work must be submitted on blanks furnished with the Bid Submittal Document. Said bids must be submitted as one original and one copy. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders / General Conditions. Bidders shall comply with all statutory requirements in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders / General Conditions. Contract Times for completion and provisions on liquidated and special damages, if any, are indicated in the Agreement. *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
