Scope of Work: Pump station, operations center, and disinfection facility for West Harris County Regional Water Authority's Surface Water Supply Project. Square Footage: 18,628 ft 2 _____________________________________________ Scope of Contract is for construction of a 160 MGD Pump Station Facility including earthwork, pump station foundation and building superstructure, Operations Center; construction of two (2) 10-million-gallon pre-stressed concrete tanks; installation of pump station equipment and piping, including but not limited to pumps, motors, variable frequency drives, pump control ball valves, pump room traveling crane, interior piping and valves, floor drains, plumbing systems, 5kV switchgear and motor control centers, instrumentation and control, HVAC systems; construction of yard piping and associated appurtenances; construction of access roads, parking areas, fences, gates, and other site modifications; coordination and interface with the power company who will be providing service to the site, coordination and interface with third party on-site generation contractor; construction of a transformer yard, equipment pads, power poles and other appurtenances for primary power; site and building electronic surveillance and security; coordinate with others performing fiber optic installation and SCADA activities. Details of this work are provided in the Construction Drawings and Project Manual. This project is a part of the overall Surface Water Supply Project. Scope: CONTRACTOR shall provide all labor, materials, tools, services, equipment and incidentals required to furnish, install, test and place in satisfactory operation, fiber reinforced plastic handrails, stairs, and grating systems as specified herein and shown on the drawings. B. FRP stairs, handrails, and grating shall be a prefabricated system constructed to install without significant field cutting or fabrication. CONTRACTOR shall coordinate field measurements prior to submittal and include fully dimensioned fabrication drawings with the submittal.
