The City desires to obtain quotations from qualified individuals, firms, and legal entities to enter into a fixed price contract relative to supplying maintenance services for City Rights-of-Way in Areas #1 & #2. Contract period shall be for an initial three (3) year period with an option to renew for an additional three (3) year period, contingent upon satisfactory service and mutual agreement of the parties. No Pre-Bid Conference Available It is the intent of the City to enter into a per unit fixed price basis contract with one (1) or more qualified Contractors to perform all necessary maintenance services for City Rights-of-Way in Areas #1 & #2. The selected Bidder(s) will be responsible to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, utilities and supervision necessary to comply with the specifications set forth herein. Area #1 - It is the intent of the City to enter into a per unit fixed price with one (1) qualified Contractor to perform all necessary Mowing of Road Rights-of-Way along vacant lots, drainage areas, and tracts in Area #1. The Contractor shall supply all labor, supervision, equipment, machinery, tools, materials, transportation and other incidentals necessary to comply with the specifications set forth herein. The bidder will be required to maintain the additional sites as growth continues throughout the City. This includes, but not limited to, mowing approximately two hundred twelve (212) acres of road rights-of-way a minimum of eight (8) times per year. The City reserves the right to modify the level of service due to environmental conditions funding availability and/or the demands from the public. Areas Involved - Designated area maps can be found in Attachment A. Area #2 - It is the intent of the City to enter into a per unit fixed price with one (1) qualified Contractor to perform all necessary Mowing of Road Rights-of-Way along vacant lots, drainage areas, and tracts in Area #2. The Contractor shall supply all labor, supervision, equipment, machinery, tools, materials, transportation and other incidentals necessary to comply with the specifications set forth herein. The bidder will be required to maintain the additional sites as growth continues throughout the City. This includes, but not limited to, mowing approximately three hundred eight (308) acres of road rights-of-way a minimum of eight (8) times per year. The City reserves the right to modify the level of service due to environmental conditions funding availability and/or the demands from the public. Definitions - Where the following terms or their pronouns occur herein, the intent and meaning shall be as follows: R.R.O.W.: Shall mean Road Right of Way. Bid Bond 5% The City of Port St. Lucie reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any and all informalities or irregularities, to negotiate with any qualified Proposers, and to accept or reject all or any part of any proposal as it may deem to be in the best interest of the citizens of the City.
