The Project is located at the intersection of Grant Line Road and MacArthur Drive, and is described as follows: Installation of activated LED blank-out signs on traffic signals, installation of fencing along the median, and installation of signage and striping at the intersection of Grant Line Road and MacArthur Drive. The planned timeframe for commencement and completion of construction of the Project is: April 1, 2022 and July 1, 2022. See Section 6 of the Contract and Section 5.4 of the General Conditions regarding liquidated damages. Contract work to be completed in sixty (60) calendar days. This Project requires a valid California contractor's license for the following classification(s): Class A, General Engineering Contractor's License. This Project is subject to the prevailing wage requirements The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the maximum Contract Price, and a warranty bond for 10% of the maximum Contract Price. Substitution of appropriate securities in lieu of retention amounts from progress payments is permitted under Public Contract Code section 22300. A completed Subcontractor List form must be submitted with the Bid Proposal in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
