The project consists of but is not limited to the following: Installation of pedestrian streetlights, horizontal directional excavation, electric, sitework, cast-in-place concrete, selective demolition, seeding, mulching, E&S controls and other work indicated in the Contract Documents. The Bidder shall include the fully completed Non-Collusion Affidavit with the Bid. A Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the amount of the contract and issued by a corporate surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 calendar days of the award date. Bids submitted for this project are subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. Compliance with Act 127 of 2012 requiring all contractors and subcontractors to use e-Verify for verification of employment eligibility for all employees will be required. Verification form shall be provided to the Borough of Selinsgrove as a precondition of being awarded a contract. Bids may be held by the Borough of Selinsgrove for up to 60 days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications prior to awarding the contract. The Borough of Selinsgrove reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all defects, errors, omissions, irregularities or informalities in any bid. Awards shall be made only to responsible bidders that possess the potential ability to perform successfully under the terms and conditions of this procurement. Consideration shall be given to such matters as bidder integrity, compliance with public policy, record of past performance and financial and technical resources when determining responsibility. As of March 11, 2022, the project is expected to re-bid May 2022.
