As of March 24, 2022, Apparent low bidder is Smith Plumbing, Heating, Electrical, LLC, Bid amount is $71,766.34 Eagles Mere Borough Authority is seeking bids to install 45 Kwh stand-by generators at two waste water treatment plants. Contact the Authority office at em17731@epix.net or 570 525 3247 to request bid documents and additional information. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. The installation locations are 153 Carl Rider Road, Eagles Mere, PA 17731 and 540 Eagles Mere Ave., Eagles Mere, PA 17731. AWARD IS ANTICIPATED ON OR ABOUT 12/13/2021 The owner (the Eagles Mere Borough Authority) owns and operates two sewage treatment plants that it wishes to equip with back-up power systems. The owner wishes to install one 45kw 3 phase 120/240 volt propane fueled generator at each plant as well as emergency communications equipment, in accordance with the Engineers letter dated 9/10/21 attached (Appendix A The owner requires that installation occurs during the periods of April 15 through June 15 or September 15 through November 15. Successful running of the equipment for 30 minutes under full load will be required as part of completion. Owner retains the right to modify the installation period to his benefit and to approve the selected contractors proposed installation schedule.
